Type its number - 1 is the first column. If you ask for a column that doesn't exist, the tool says how many columns the widest row has. Turn off Include header row to leave out the first row, which usually holds the column name.
Yes. It follows the standard CSV rules: a value in double quotes can contain commas, quotes (written as "") and even line breaks. A value that contains a line break is quoted again in the output so it stays one entry.
They stay as empty lines, so the extracted list still lines up row for row with the original data.
Not directly - this extractor splits on commas. Replace semicolons with commas first (Find and Replace can do that), or use CSV to JSON, which reads comma-, semicolon- and tab-separated data.
